BreastScreen NSW Vision Statement

BreastScreen NSW will offer a world-class population-based screening program for women of New South Wales in the eligible population, specifically targeting women aged 50-69 years. In aligning our program with that of BreastScreen Australia, we will maximise the early detection of cancer in women and aim to ensure equity of access for all women. We acknowledge the cultural diversity of NSW and will offer our service in a manner that is acceptable and appropriate to all women.

BreastScreen NSW will work in partnership with women in the target age group and other key stakeholders so that significant reductions can be achieved in the morbidity and mortality attributable to breast cancer.
